Step 3: Regroup

Ok, I know it's been a long time... I shouldn'ta left you... without a dope beat to step to.
Oh, by the way-- it's THANKSGIVING BREAK!!!
THAT means that, in addition to finishing up the academic quarter, I get to decompress and work on my music a little. And as part of that, I'm looking for inspiration. So, I want to turn everyone's attention to my "Inspiration of the Moment" section.
What choo know about Adele?
Whether you've heard about her or not, I ask all of you to get on Youtube right now and search for "Adele Chasing Pavements Live". She and Jazmine Sullivan are my biggest motivating-me-off-of-the-LaZboy forces, musically, in my life right now. You can search for both of them in my Google search bar under the "Look!" section.
But in terms of my own music, I'm going to try to channel my inner computer wizard over the next week and figure out how to post them onto my blog so you don't have to go all the way to my site-- though I still encourage you to ;).

Oh! Also, I was watching the final episode of TRL last weekend, and was so MOVED, especially watching, of all people, Britney Spears. It was like being transported back to the person I was back then that starry-eyed pre-teen trying to learn the dance to "Baby, One More Time" and thinking, "I can totally do that! I want that to be me!" I gotta tell you, if I had natural human responses to emotional events captured on film, I probably would have been watching Britney and reminiscing through tear-drenched eyelashes. But alas, there was only space for one wreck in the room.

So moral of the story: Now that I'm in my senior year, I think it was really important for me to rediscover why I embarked on this journey in the first place, and everyone who reads this is morally responsible for helping me holding me accountable to myself! :)
